A manor as a venue offers what no other space can - historic atmosphere, garden, fireplace hall with high ceilings and photo-friendly setting. Latvia has 50+ manors that host events - from restored quiet manors to large neoclassical complexes. Most are 30-100 km from Riga, reachable in 1-1.5 hours.

EventPro regularly runs events at manors and knows each one - which fits which event. In summer, the park area with marquee and open bar; in winter, the central hall with fireplace and live music. Many manors have their own guest house with 20-40 rooms - especially useful for weddings.

Technical notes

Most manors have 16-32 A power - large events (>200 guests) need our generator
Acoustics in historic halls require specially prepared sound - usually a delay system in addition to mains
Heating in winter and cooling in summer - check ahead, many manors are not modernised
Wi-Fi and cellular - can be weak, so prepare presentation files locally instead of live demos

Frequently asked questions

How early should we book a manor?

Summer weddings (June-August) - 12-15 months ahead. Other seasons - 6-9 months. Popular manors (Mezotne, Dikli) go even earlier.

Can guests stay overnight at the manor?

Many manors have their own guest house with 20-40 rooms. If you need more - we book nearby hotels and arrange transport.

Are fire effects and pyrotechnics allowed?

Indoor cold sparks - yes, with approval. Outdoor pyrotechnics - usually allowed in the garden with special protocol. Open fire in historic rooms is forbidden.

Can you arrange catering at the manor?

Most manors have their own chef or a trusted catering partner. We work with both - either pick partners or arrange our own team.

How long can the event run at a manor?

Standard - until midnight. Usually extendable to 2-4 AM with extra fee and overnight stay for guests.
